about

This is the 2nd album from Side Effect released in 2004 on Krush Unit INC.

For verses and shows, contact Side Effect at sideeffect88@yahoo.com for pricing.

I met Stress the White Boy and Havok around 2001-2002 at a Phillyhiphop.com Christmas party at the Grape Street Pub in Manayunk. I remember this distinctly because I was at the party giving out copies of my home-made demo CD "Metaphoric Jizm". I remember Stress posting on Phillyhiphop.com how much he liked the CD and was interested in working on some music with me. I went over to his house and came home with a beat tape that I started writing to. The first 3 songs I think we recorded together was "Spitacular". "Knockin", and "Great" which he produced on a Roland W-30 keyboard. We recorded the first few songs at Kingston Sound in Levittown. The rest of the album we recorded at Fresh Tracks in Cheltenham. Havok put all of the artwork together, I remember taking the picture for the cover on his front porch. This was the second album I released and it came out on Krush Unit Records. It's funny to go back and listen to it from time to time to hear how much I've advanced as a lyricist and how Stress has evolved as a producer. I think it captures where we were at that point in our lives perfectly. Just some Hip Hop kids who enjoyed making music. Hope you like it.
